Arms Trafficking Across the U.S.–Mexico Border

I analyzed six years of government records and open sources to examine how firearms moved from legal markets in the United States into Mexico.

The Wilson Center published the work, and Mexico News Daily republished it. It was later cited in a U.S. Supreme Court amicus brief and academic publications. Project staff also confirmed that it was presented in briefings with State, Commerce, and DHS officials.

Mexico’s Next President

I helped edit a 58-page policy booklet prepared ahead of Mexico’s 2024 presidential election, bringing together recommendations on security, migration, energy, water, nearshoring, and North American cooperation.

The project translated contributions from multiple experts into a coherent public resource intended for presidential candidates, transition teams, policymakers, and others preparing for a consequential political transition.
